Pop-Up Cinema For Liverpool Irish Festival

Empty Spaces Cinema is returning to The Handymans Supermarket for a one-day film festival to celebrate The Liverpool Irish Festival.

Taking place on Wednesday October 25 the cinema event will feature animation and documentaries to reflect life on the island of Ireland.

At 2pm we host a family-friendly screening of the animated film The Secret Of Kells (PG). The film tells the magical story of a young man in an isolated Irish Forest completing dangerous tasks in a wonderful adventure.

At 6pm The Irish Pub takes a loving look at traditional Irish pubs and the people who run them, highlighting the friendships they share with loyal customers.

At 8pm I Am Belfast is A poetic visual depiction and exploration of Belfast and its citizens, told by a former resident who still loves the city. Mark Cousins’ film is a touching ode to the place.
